Registration

 

All swimmers must register as members of Wangaratta Swimming Club within three weeks of commencing training.  Current annual registration fees include membership to our club, Ovens and Murray District Swimming and Swimming Victoria.  Most importantly, this also covers swimmer insurance so is a pre-requisite for ongoing training.

Squad Fees

 

Squad training fees are invoiced monthly by email (payment by internet bank transfer) with the cost set upon the expected number of sessions attended per week.

 

LTS Transition Squad - Swimmers transitioning from their Learn To Swim (LTS) program to the Junior squad will attend 1 squad session and a minimum of 1 registered LTS session.

 

Junior Squad - Swimmers aiming to compete in Inter Club meets and Ovens and Murray Championships are expected to attend a minimum of 2 training sessions per week.

 

Intermediate Squad - Swimmers aiming to compete in Victorian Country Championships and/or Victorian Country All Junior Championships are expected to attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week.

 

Development Squad - Swimmers aiming to compete in Victorian Short or Long Course Championships and/or Victorian Sprint Championships are expected to attend a minimum of 4 pool sessions.

 

Senior Squad - Swimmers aiming to compete in National Age Championships are expected to attend a minimum of 6 pool sessions and 2 dry land sessions per week.

 

Adult Squad - Competitive training, Masters Swimmers are expected to attend up to 3 sessions per week
